Greetings and welcome back for this week's Monday Medley!
I sincerely hope you are all staying warm wherever you are as we are definitely in the deep freeze this morning. We're looking at a sub-sub-zero high today with wind chill factors that will make you sit up and take notice. I'm talking about the -45 degree variety where you freeze in 5 minutes. I'm sending all my warmest thoughts to my hubby Rich today as he waits for the bus to work. Brrrrrrr.
In light of the frigid temps, I thought it would be nice to share a few spring-like cards with you and maybe chase some of these cold days away a little sooner.
This week I am featuring the set Morning Meadow. I just earned this one at my last SU! workshop and love it. I'm seeing lots of pretty cards on Pinterest these days for this set too so I know I'm not the only one in love with it.
My first card is a fresh and feminine birthday card in white, Pirouette Pink and Certainly Celery. Soft colors that always make me think of Spring. I used the floral spray to create a background for my punched and layered blossoms which ultimately ended up looking like cherry blossoms with this palette.

The second card I have today is much brighter and maybe even a bit summery. I paired that cute pansy flower in Real Red with some adorable papers from October Afternoon and My Minds Eye for a summer picnic-like thank you card.
Finally, I reverted back to the floral spray for a much more subdued sympathy card. The layered flowers are a repeat of what I did on the first card, but I used ivory and Stardreams Ivory cardstock for the blossoms this time and limited my color palette to ivory and Stardreams pale green. This card could easily be converted to a wedding card just by changing out the sentiment.
As always, thanks for stopping in today.
