Swirling River

Good morning!
Isn't it interesting how Saturday and Sunday disappear in a blink and Monday seems to come careening around the corner with undue haste every week? On the up side, thanks to the dedicated help of some dear friends, preparations for the Stamp A Stack event are coming along nicely. We cut all the paper, ribbon etc, assembled kits and packaged up supplies for all the registered attendees yesterday so now all that's left to do is pack up the stamps, ink and tools. Yay!
Anyway, we're off and running in a new week and I have a thank you card to share.
The card base is a half sheet trimmed of River Rock layered on a quarter sheet of Basic Black. I stamped the swirls from Baroque Motifs in River Rock on the card face to create the background. Next, I stamped the same swirl and the sentiment in Basic Black on a smaller panel of Neenah Solar White, layered it on River Rock and then tied it with a piece of narrow black ribbon. This was then layered on a larger panel of Basic Black that I edge punched using the EK Success Edger punch. Finally, I added a few black gems to the swirls.

Have a great day!
