Happy 2010 Birthday Myrna

Happy Birthday Myrna!
Today is my Mother-in-Law's birthday so, of course, I'm sharing her card with you. The real thing went in the mail last week so hopefully she has it by now and I've not spoiled the surprise for her. She's a snowbird now so I figured she deserved a little taste of spring for her card. I also gave the new Scallop Trim border punch a try, and oh, what a sweet punch that is!
The card base is Orchid Opulence, cut 5 x 10 and folded. The face is layered with two patterns of Cottage Wall dsp plus a couple of strips of Old Olive and one of Orchid Opulence. The flowers are stamped in Orchid Opulence and Rich Razzleberry and the stems are stamped in Kiwi Kiss on Whisper White. The Whisper White and Rich Razzleberry Nestability layers are cut with the dies but the center layer is hand trimmed using the outside rim of the smaller die as a template. To finish it all off, I hand-trimmed a few of the flowers to layer up on dimensionals, added a bit of celery ribbon and a tiny bit of bling. The

The finished card is 5-1/4 square.

Thanks for stopping in!
