Welcome and happy Friday! Today I have a couple cards to share with you. These were from a stamping day I had with my pal Twyla a while back. If I remember right I asked her to pick a couple of colors and we went from there. Since she wanted to use Summer Sun and Green Galore I picked Whisper White as the neutral. We each did a couple of cards so to mix it up a little we made two with Green Galore layers and two with Summer Sun layers.
The card base is Whisper White stamped randomly with the flowers and leaves from Flower Fancy. Next we stamped the largest stemmed flower with Chocolate Chip, colored with summer Sun, Only Orange and Green Galore markers and then cut them out with my Lables 2 Nestabilities. We layered them on either Summer Sun or Green Galore also cut with the Nestabilities dies. Okay, so now we have this somewhat oversized layered piece that needs to somehow fit on a standard card. Probably should have thought that through a little better huh? Oh well!
Next we punched one edge of the flower layer with the slot punch, slipped the ribbon through and wrapped it around the card front to tie on the opposing side. The sentiment is stamped with Chocolate Chip on Whisper White then punched with the medium oval punch and layered on a 1 inch circle and a Designer Label punch of either Green Galore or Summer Sun. A dimensional pops the little sentiment tag up a bit.
