This week I am featuring the set Winter Post. As we get closer to Christmas, I am trying to get as many ideas out as I can for those last minute packages. If you're like me, you're looking for ideas for all those little gifts that you forgot you needed to wrap.
I also have one more Christmas card to share with you so let's start with that.
I used up some scraps of paper for this one and went with a 3 1/4 x 6 card.
The deer is stamped on ivory then die cut and layered on another diecut. I used Spellbinders Classic ovals and Classic Scalloped Ovals large. The chevron tabs are all hand trimmed and layered one over the other and I added a bit of red glittered bling for some sparkle.
My next sample is a little 2 x 2 box with matching lid. I was going to use these for wrapping my little gifts for the ladies that take my class at work every month but then I stumbled across some mini gable boxes and used those instead. This little box is made of Real Red cardstock and then trimmed with the glittered stripe DSP from the Holiday Memories collection. The bow on top uses the glittered polka dot pattern from the same collection. To finish it all off is a little tag. I stamped it twice, hand trimmed the red version and used dimensionals to pop the center section up. So cute, and the perfect size for a pair of earrings or something small!
Finally, I made a bunch of these tags for the Upsy Daisy store.
I kept them pretty simple but then used punches, twine and a button to bring a little dimension into the mix.
Thanks for stopping by!
Next week I'll be on vacation (right here at home) so I'll have a fresh post for you but stop back tomorrow for a chance to win one of 4 spots in my 2014 Monthly Card Club!
