Monday Medley - Mixed Bunch

 Good morning!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'm actually posting from Chicago this week as I'm here for work. I'll be heading off to breakfast soon and then a full day of marketing seminars but wanted to get this week's cards posted before I dived into the day.

This week I am featuring Mixed Bunch. This is such a fun set to work with - especially when you add in the punch that goes with it. I absolutely LOVE the flowers in the set. So versatile!

The first card is probably my favorite for this round, but you'll notice I tried out that Rich Razzleberry/Summer Starfruit color combo again for card number two and I like that one too! I went for dramatic elegance on the first card and I think I hit my mark. The lacy flower, embossed background and black and red rhinestones really make a statement. I left the front sentiment-free, but I turned it into a wedding card in the end.

The second card is a little more subtle and soothing. I made use of some gorgeous DP from My Minds Eye called So Sophie -Graceful for my leaf swirls for the flowers and added small punched flowers and gems here and there to give it dimension.

Finally, for the third card I went in another direction for a earthy birthday card. The DP in the middle band helped determine the colors but I was happy to find it matches several of the SU! colors on deck at the moment. A little ribbon, and edge punch and some bling finished it off nicely.

Thanks for dropping in! I'm off to see what I can learn. See you next week!
