Hooray for the Weekend!
Ever have one of those weeks where you have so much going on at home that you wish your week was your weekend?
Well, it's finally Friday and, of course, I have several things to accomplish over the next few days, but I am hoping to squeeze in a little fun too. Sunday I am bowling in a charity event to fight diabetes with a few of my co-workers. I participated in this event last year and had a great time. Here's hopin' this year is just as fun!
Today I have a super quick and easy card to share with you. In fact, the recipe uses only a handful of "ingredients"!
My card base is a half sheet of Neenah Solar White trimmed to fit a quarter sheet of Dusty Durango.
I stamped the face of the card with four different colors: Dusty Durango, Kiwi Kiss, Crushed Curry and Baja Breeze (SO sad to see that color go away.*SAD FACE*)
Over that I tied a piece of Dusty Durango polka dot grosgrain ribbon and then layered a stamped and hand-trimmed scallop oval and sentiment from the same set. (Hero Arts: Sweet Threads) I used Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango for that then stamped one more Baja Breeze flower for popping up on top. The oval and flower were both mounted on foam dimensionals and I added a cluster of tiny green gems to the center of the flower for some bling.
That's it. See? I told you this one was easy! *smiles*
Have a fabulous weekend (whatever you decide to do) and thanks for stopping by today!
