Hugs & Kisses for My Valentine

Good morning!

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was spent up in Fargo with my Mother who is in the hospital. It's a challenging time for all of us but we're optimistic of her recovery. The real challenge really comes in keeping her spirits up along with our own. In any event, you'll forgive me if my mind is elsewhere these days. My posts may be short this week, but they still carry a lot of heart!

Continuing the Valentine theme...
today's card is an easel card.

My card base is a 5.25 square piece of Pirouette Pink attached to a scored and folded piece of the same cut 10.5 x 5.25.
The front square is layered with a 5 inch square of My Minds Eye Love Me DP and a strip of another print that was layered on Basic Gray. The edges of the Basic Gray piece are punched using the Fiskars Threading Water punch and the piece is tied with white satin 3/8 inch ribbon before adhering to the card.
I gave the inside bottom of the card a similar treatment but only scallop punched the top edge of the gray.
An assortment of hearts layered together with other hearts or scallop circles embellish the two layers.

Thanks for dropping in. Enjoy your day!
