Good morning!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I managed to get myself and my chubby dog out for a much needed walk on Saturday then spent the rest of the afternoon watching our temperatures plummet and, yes, stamping. Call it divine intervention if you will! Sunday was entirely too cold to do much of anything other than indoor pursuits so I filled the day in with a trip to the movies with my son Josh and another afternoon of stamping. Tough duty right? LOL!
Today's card is a congratulations card that I designed with a wedding or anniversary in mind, but really, it's pretty versatile so you could really use it for most any type of congratulatory event.
The card base is a 5 x 10 piece of Neenah Baronial Ivory layered on a 5.25 inch square of Basic Gray. (sorry, it looks black in the photo)
The next two layers are a 4.75 inch square of So Saffron and a 4.5 inch square of ivory. The latter was folder embossed using the Sizzix Divine Swirls embossing folder.
Next, I stamped a rectangular panel of ivory with the swirl from Baroque Motifs in So Saffron and "congratulations" from Curly Cute in Basic Gray. I tied a gray satin bow around the stamped piece then layered it on Basic Gray and So Saffron before adhering it to the center of the card.
A trio of black gems and two ribbon flowers (Michaels) finish it all off.
Thanks for dropping in! Enjoy your day.
