There's just something special about that North Star

Good morning everyone! I hope you had a great weekend. I came home from a girl's crafting weekend yesterday that was so much fun and super productive. I finished several sets of cards, a few ornaments for Christmas (I'll share those later) and did a complete remix on my own Christmas cards.  On top of all that, the weather was wonderful so we squeezed in a walk and of course, LOTS of fabulous food. I can 't wait for the next weekend like that!

So, on to today's card.
I started with a 5x10 piece of Bashful Blue cs folded and layered it on a 5-1/4 square of Bazzill Jacaranda blue textured cs.
For the main image, and the lower 2/3rds of the card front,  I cut a 5 x 3 piece of Neenah Solar White and stamped the polar bears in the lower left corner with Memanto Tuxedo Black. The bears are colored with Copics and then liberally coated with glitter. I trimmed the bottom edge of the bear piece with a punched scallop border of the same Jacaranda Blue cs before adhering it in place.

Next, I punched a circle sort of midway between where the white panel and the card meet with a Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circle die to create a little window in the card. The stars were stamped in the window, colored with Copics and glittered a bit and I finished the whole thing off with a bit of silver grosgrain ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by!
