Good morning!
I hope amid all of Presidential election hoopla you are having a good week. I admit, I'm glad it's all over for another 4 years but God Bless You if you took the time to get out and vote. I applaud you for doing your part for our country.
Today's card is a soft and pretty thinking of you card that I did a couple of weeks ago.
My card base is a half sheet of Certainly Celery layered with 4 small rectangles of DP from My Mind's eye Miss Caroline Howdy Doody collection.
I punched a strip of Pink Pirouette with Fiskar's Lacey Days of Summer edge punch, folder embossed it with a Sizzix Swiss Dots folder and tied a piece of organdy ribbon around the bottom edge before adhering to the middle line of the card.
The center image is a square of Neenah Solar White stamped and lightly sponged with Regal Rose. Note, I rounded the corners before I sponged. This piece is layered on a scallop square of So Saffron that was cut with Spellbinders classic scallop squares and adhered to the card with foam dimensionals.
Finally, I punched two of three different sized flowers from Pink Pirouette, distressed each one to get it to round and curve and then sponged each with Regal Rose before gluing each one together with mini glue dots. A couple Certainly Celery leaves underneath finish it all off.
Thanks for dropping in today!
