Good morning!
I hope you're having a great week. I'm still wrapping up the last of the insurance tangle from last week, but it's almost all behind me now and what a relief that is!
Today I have the birthday card that I did for my friend Lynn. Her birthday is actually in October, but she got roped into celebrating with the rest of us girls at work in August. I figured she deserved a special card just for that alone, but in reality, she would have received one anyway. *smiles*
So, the card base is a 5-3/4 x 11-1/2 piece of Soft Sky. I layered a 5-1/4 square of Early Espresso with a 5 inch square of Fancy Pants Designs Summers End DP. Over that is a pleated a strip of DP trimmed with a punched scallop border of Peach Parfait, a narrow strip of striped DP and a piece of velvet ric-rac. This piece was then adhered along the bottom portion of the card.

The flower and leaves wer stamped three times using Dusty Durango, Tangerine Tango, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Always Artichoke inks, hand trimmed, dusted liberally with glitter and popped up on enough dimensionals to make this a hand-deliver-only card. LOL!
Finally, the sentiment is stamped with Always Artichoke, hand trimmed into a little tag and trimmed with a button tied with orange and white bakers twine.
