Good morning!
So, what sort of card do you do for a ballroom-dancing math teacher?
As you are probably aware, I get some unique card requests from time to time. Most of the time I can come up with something fairly clever or suitable and I can honestly say, I appreciate both the challenge and the vote of confidence that the person who is asking for it gives me. My only hope is that the final recipient actually thinks I am as clever as I do! *smiles*
So, on to the card. The card base is a 5-1/4 x 10-1/2 piece of Wild Wasabi folded in half. Over that I layered a 5 inch square of designer paper from the DCWV Songbird collection.
Next, I folder embossed a strip of Summer Sun cs using the Cuttlebug Number Collage embossing folder and layered that on a slightly wider strip of Ranger Stormy Sky Core-dinations cs. That piece was adhered to the right edge of the card along with a Wild Wasabi flourish that was cut using the Sizzix Flourish #10.
The ballroom dancers were printed on Neenah Baronial Ivory, hand trimmed and adhered to the card with foam dimensionals.
Finally, the letters were cut with the Cricut Base Camp cartridge and adhered directly to the card.
Thanks for dropping by! Have a good day!
