Happy Friday, and Happy Anniversary to my sister Brenda and her husband Greg. They've been married 27 years today so we congratulate them both!
For their card, I started with a 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 piece of Neenah Baronial Ivory and folded it in half to make a square. All four corners were rounded and the face was layered with two pieces of designer paper from Basic Grey's Serendipity assortment. Over that I added a couple of Wild Wasabi die cut swirls cut with my Sizzix Flourishes 11 die. The center medallion is a pink felt scallop circle layered with a stamped lace doily image from Delicate Doilies. The stamped piece was adhered directly to the felt scallop circle.
The flowers were cut using the Sizzix Floral Fusion dies, distressed a bit so the petals would curl, and trimmed with a small felt flower.
Finally, I added a few mini gems around the edges of the swirls for a bit of bling and layered the whole thing on a 5-1/4 inch Regal Rose scallop square that I cut using Grand Caliber Nestabilities dies.
Have a great weekend everyone and thanks for stopping by!
