Chasing Dreams

Happy Friday!

I'm off on vacation today but am up fairly early anyway. the house is quiet, animals have been fed, and I have a fresh cup of coffee to chase the cobwebs away, so the day is already off to a pretty good start.
I wanted to share a special card with you today. I made this for our receptionist at work who is retiring. We had a party for her yesterday and wished her well. I think she has plans to spend a lot of time being Grandma and I wish her well with that!
I wanted her card to be something of a keepsake and reflect her style. I think I accomplished both. As you can see from the detail shot below, I added a couple of extra pages so that people who wanted to sign it would have room to write a little something special for her. I found the sentiment online and printed that on my computer, but the rest of the pages are blank except for a few embellishments.
All the info for what I used is below but I used a lot of Spellbinders dies, some embossing with the help of folders and a couple of punches to trim it all out. Dimensions for the main pieces are as follows:
Card base: 6 x 12 scored at 6 inches
Card Insert: 5-7/8 x 11-3/4 scored at 5-7/8 inches
White panels: cut 6 - 5-1/2 square
Designer Papers - I used 4 different prints from Crate Papers Random collection

The rest of the recipe is below. Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend!
