Simple Sympathy Double Header

Pearls and Sympathy
 Good morning!
Monday sure rolls around quick doesn't it?

Rich and I went to a Twins game yesterday, thanks to an awesome eye doctor who was kind enough to give us his season tickets. Great seats...not so great game.  Maybe that's why we're going with sympathy cards today... LOL!

They are not gone...
You'll notice right away that these cards are VERY similar. That was by design actually so I could show you how easy it is to change things up just by tipping the scales a bit here and there. In this case, I simply turned the diecut shape 90 degrees, swapped out the tree with a fern and a nice sentiment and, done!

Here are the basics:
The card is a half sheet of Certainly Celery folded and left plain. I folder embossed two strips of Old Olive using my Sizzix Branches with leaves folder and then added a Dotted Scallop Ribbon edge along the bottom of each. These pieces were adhered to the card and then followed up with a bit of chocolate grosgrain ribbon along the top edge.
The tree, fern and sentiments were all stamped with Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip on Neenah Baronial Ivory then die cut according to their orientation needs.
A few foam dimensionals pop them up off the card a bit and that's it. See how simple that was?

Thanks for dropping in!
I have a whirlwind week ahead of me: meetings galore, several looming deadlines and, praise God, a vacation day on Friday.
Have a great day everyone.
