Today promises to be the start of an odd week with the 4th of July holiday smack dab in the middle of the week and two days of work on either side of it. We did our family visit with Rich's parents this past weekend which was a short day and a half but we packed a bunch of fun into the time we had!
Lately, it seems we've had a run on sympathy cards at work so I set about refilling my card box with a few quick and easy cards that are suited to either gender.
Today's card begins with a half sheet of Always Artichoke cs folded and layered with a Stardreams Opal embossed panel. For the latter, I used the Cuttlebug Floral Screen embossing folder.
Next I stamped a smaller panel of Neenah Baronial Ivory with the Simply Soft stamp set in Tangerine Tango and Old Olive. I did a little second generation stamping to give it a soft, hazy sort of look. The stamped panel is layered on a slightly larger panel of Tangerine Tango and tied with 3/8 inch beige organdy ribbon before it's adhered to the card with dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping in today!
