Good morning! Today I'm sending a little citrus sunshine your way! I've been meaning to toss my hat into the ring for the July Stampendous challenge all month but several things got in my way. So...better late than never right?
I used Stampendous Daisy Thanks to create an eye-popping focal image and kept the rest of the card fairly simple. A lacy square frame, a button, a bit of baker's twine and some citrusy background papers from Crate Paper's Farmhouse collection round out the rest of the card.
To begin, I started with a 5-1/4 x 10-1/2 piece of Peach Parfait (retired) cs folded in half. I also cut a 5 1/8 square of Ridinghood Red and a couple of pieces of designer paper for the background. Everything got a rounded corner treatment before being adhered in place and I trimmed out the top edge of the narrow orange dp strip along the bottom with a scallop trim punch border of Bazzill Leafrog Green. The lacy square frame is cut using Spellbinders Lacey Squares from the same green.
The flowers and sentiment are both stamped on Neenah Solar White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the flowers with Copics then rounded the corners and adhered the piece to the green frame. I used foam dimensionals to adhere the panel to the card and pop it up a bit. Finally, I hand cut the tag and layered it on the green, adhered it to the floral square and topped it off with a button and a baker's twine bow.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope your day is sunny!
