Oregon Lighthouse Congratulations

Good morning!
Well, we are midway through the week already. Anyone else feel like they lost a day? Makes me wonder what retired people do when every day is a Saturday... Not that I'm jealous or anything...

With that said, today I have a retirement card for you.

My card base is a 5-1/4 x 10-1/2 piece of Bazzill Stonewash cardstock folded and layered with a 5 x 2 inch strip of Graphic 45 DP that I had leftover from a card kit, a 5 x 3 panel of My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Dolled Up DP and a band of ribbon to finish the edges between the two.
The lighthouse (Coast to Coast) and sentiment (Fiskars: Round of Applause) are stamped on Naturals Putty cs in Night of Navy and layered on Chocolate Chip and more Bazzill Stonewash. I deco-die cut the bottom edge of the Chocolate Chip piece under the lighthouse with Spellbinders Postage Stamp Edgabilities and then added a brad in three of the corners. (I didn't need one in the 4th corner because my sentiment would cover it up anyway).
From there, it was just a matter of adhering the two pieces to the card. The lighthouse is adhered directly to the card and the sentiment is popped up on foam dimensionals.

Thanks for dropping by today! And, hey...if you 're one of those lucky people who are retired...well aside from being more than a bit jealous...I hope you are thoroughly enjoying every minute of it! *SMILES*

See you Friday!
