Yup, it's Friday. My almost-favorite day of the week. Well, it's a close runner up to Saturday anyway. *SMILES*
This weekend's list of "to do's" is fairly long but if the weather performs as expected I think I'll have plenty of guilt-free time in my stamp room. Yay!
Today's card is one I cobbled together from a little stamped image I did several months back at a little stamp store just North of home. The image is by Whippersnapper Designs and is called, appropriately, Missy Mouse. Way cute and fun to color. She's die cut with Spellbinders Big Scalloped Rectangles Small and, you guessed it, colored with Copics.
My card base is a 5-1/4 x 10-1/2 piece of Pirouette Pink folded and layered with a panel of DP from the My Mind's Eye Stella Rose Hazel Papers assortment plus a narrow strip of another print from the same assortment.
The ribbon is from Martha Stewart (I bought it ages ago at Michaels)and the little tag is a 1 inch circle of Certainly Celery behind a stamped and punched sentiment circle from Hero Arts Thinking of You Messages. I stamped that in Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White and added a little flower brad to the middle to hold the two pieces together. I used a piece of cording to tie it to the knot on my ribbon for a little "dangle action"
Finally, the flowers are punched from DP scraps using the Boho Blossoms punch, layered together and distressed. Each one has a brad in the center to hold them all together. The leaves are punched with a Martha Stewart Little Leaf punch and everything is held down with glue dots.
Thanks for popping in! Have a fabulous weekend!
