Happy Friday!
As I round out my Stampendous focus week, I am also sending out loads of good wishes for a happy 4th of July. We're celebrating this weekend since the holiday falls mid-week this year. With that in mind, I have a couple fire-cracker bright cards to share with you!
I used the Stampendous Daisy Thanks and stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black. My layout is the same for both cards but I played around with my Copics for two totally different looks.
The first is full of hot reds, oranges and yellows, and the second is slightly more subdued with a traditional Black Eyed Susan color palette. I also swapped out card base colors to give each one a slightly different look. For the first, I used Real Red for my card base and then layered a panel of Basic Black over that. For the second, my card base is Chocolate Chip layered on a quarter panel of Summer Sun. Both daisy panels are Neenah Solar White.
Finally, since the coloring on the flowers really stole the show in both cases, I left off any extra embellishments. Sentiments are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black as well.
