Today I have a male birthday card for you. This was one I did for a friend who asked me to make an assortment of mens cards for her mother.
For this one, I dusted off my Moose You and Trendy Trees sets.
The card base is a half sheet trimmed of Chocolate Chip (lined it with white) that was layered on a quarter panel of So Saffron.
The three DP strips are from the Nutmeg mini deck by Cosmo Cricket. I just trimmed them all to the same length (they made the appearance here as leftovers from another card) and lined them up along the left side of the card.
The trees are stamped with Kiwi Kiss (the one behind is stamped off once) and hand trimmed and the deer and sentiment are both stamped with Chocolate Chip and layered on So Saffron.
To assemble, I tied the ribbon around, adjusted to knot to the far right then adhered the layered deer piece in place on foam dimensionals. The trees came next with the top one on dimensionals, and the sentiment was added last. Note, I used two different kinds of dimensionals so that I could have a little extra height on the smaller tree. The knotted ribbon makes this an "extra postage required" card so your foam dimensionals are kind of a moot point after that. *smiles*
