Happy Friday!
Today I have something fun to share with you. I had a request a couple of weeks ago for an example of the Dice Game that I have posted in my templates and patterns. I scoured my stamp room looking for the set I'd created originally to no avail, so I made another one.
I used an empty Altoids mint box to hold everything and picked up a package of flattened bottle caps for the tiles. A couple punches, an alphabet set and a bit of designer paper later here's what you get!
My box lid is covered with Old Olive cardstock and trimmed with Rose Red, some Twitterpated DSP and a bit of ribbon. I covered the inside of the lid as well.
The tiles are done by stamping numbers 0 through 9 on Neenah Solar White cardstock with Cherry Cobbler ink and punching them out with a 5/8 inch circle punch. I layered each one on a 1 inch circle of the designer paper and then adhered both to the interior of the bottle caps.
Instructions and scoring cards are included in the template file and when trimmed will fit inside the box though you may want to adjust your print settings slightly to make them a bit smaller. Mine have to curve a little to fit. I'd guess that reducing the print settings from 100% down to 80 or 85% would reduce things enough so your instructions and score cards would lay flat in the box when finished. Printers tend to vary in this however, so you'll have to play with yours to find the right settings.
Have fun with this one and have a great weekend!
Rich and I are celebrating our wedding anniversary today (27 years!!!) with dinner and an overnight stay at a nearby B & B. I'm looking forward to the little getaway!
