Good morning and welcome to a fresh week!
I've just returned from San Antonio where it's MUCH warmer and greener and I have to say, I'm missing all that sunshine already!
Today's card is another I did at the recent crafting retreat. The new Punch Blossom punch and matching Mixed Bunch stamps are so fun to play with and I love how they layer up so nice.
My card base is a 5-1/4 x 10-1/2 piece of Soft Suede layered with a 5-1/8 square of Soft Sky and three smaller panels of designer paper from the Fancy Pants Designs Winterland collection.
The Soft Sky strip across the middle is embossed with the Tulip Frame folder and the Soft Suede edging is punched with a Martha Stewart Garden Trellis jumbo edge punch. Both of the latter two pieces are attached to the card and then the ribbon was tied in place.
The banner at the top and the middle section of the flower were stamped with Soft Suede and either hand trimmed or punched. The flower is stamped in Kiwi Kiss and Soft Sky as well and then punched and layered together with the Soft Suede piece.
I also punched out a couple small circles with the 1/2 inch circle punch and used brads to secure pieces together. A foam dimensional helps to hold the curve on the banner sentiment.
Thanks for stopping in today!
