Hello and Happy Friday!
I decided yesterday, when I went off to work for the first day this week, that having a 5 day weekend and a two day work week wasn't all bad. So, here it is Friday already and we've got another two days of freedom ahead. Nothing wrong with that picture! Especially since I am hoping to work in a little stamping time with my house cleaning chores this weekend. It seems like it's been a while since I played with my stamps.
Today's card is very simple and really went together quickly so this will be a short post.
The card base is a half sheet of Certainly Celery folded in half. I cut a 2-1/2 x 4-1/4 inch strip of Melon Mambo and punched one long edge with my Fiskars Threading Water punch. The trio of flowers are stamped with Melon Mambo, Regal Rose and Crushed Curry on a 2 x 4-1/4 inch piece of Neenah Baronial Ivory and then layered on the punched Melon Mambo piece. The baker's twine (Martha Stewart) is tied around this layered piece before adhering it to the card. The gems were added next followed by the greeting which is stamped with Wild Wasabi. Ta Da!!!
Enjoy your weekend! Thanks for popping in!
