Pressed Posies

Good morning!
Wednesday already...where is this week disappearing to? We're gearing up for Josh to come home on Friday so we've been in a bit of a cleaning frenzy to make room for all his stuff. Not a bad thing necessarily - Good will is going to be happy! However, my time to stamp has been pretty limited. Good thing I had some time last weekend for that!
Today's card is done with the Faux Pressed Flowers technique. Way cool!
I started with a quarter panel trimmed of Neenah Baronial Ivory and stamped the larger leaves and stems from Buds and Blossoms in Always Artichoke along the left edge. Next, using a glue stick, I adhered three Prima flowers in place and then ran the whole thing through the Sizzix Plaid embossing folder. This is what gives it that pressed flower look. This panel was adhered to the front of an 11x4.25 piece of Chocolate Chip cardstock. I finished each of the flowers off with a couple small punched flowers and a gold brad. Finally, I tied a bit of ribbon around the top of the card and then added a little layered circle tag with a "thanks" sentiment.

Thanks for swinging by!
