Good Morning!

Yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind day for us. My nephew's daughter Payton had her dedication ceremony in the morning and Josh was heading back to school just after lunch. We figured we'd have just enough time to make it there and back for Payton's ceremony with a little family time added in and then head home to get Josh on his bus back to school. That was until the preacher ran over by a solid 25 minutes and we had to scramble to get to the opposite end of town in time. We actually had to leave the ceremony before it finished for heaven's sake and I know my guilt will go on forever for that! I never would have thought I would ever do that! Anyway, this is the card I made for them. I'm so pleased with how it turned out! Even my husband Rich liked this one!

The card base is Pirouette Pink cut 10.5 x 5.25. I cut a 5 inch square of Neenah Solar White, stamped the flourishes from Baroque Motifs along the top and bottom edge and embosseed them with Silver Pearl embossing powder. The words, "blessed" and "baby" are from Paper Trey Ink Heartfelt Basics and All Year Cheer II respectively. The cross (Paper Trey Ink Everyday Blessings) is stamped and embossed the same way and layered on Pirouette Pink before adhering it to the card with dimensionals. Note: I tied the ribbon before I adhered the cross panel. Finally, I added a few Kaiser half pearls to the cross.
