Polar Greetings

Good morning!
I woke up to a very brisk winter morning today. Of course lately we've had a lot of those. I suppose that's part of the "fun" of living in Minnesota!
Anyway, today I have a sparkly bit of winter fun for you.
I love these polar bears don't you? The remind me of a Coca-Cola® commercial.
The card base here is a half sheet of Pacific Point. I added a strip of designer paper from DCWV  Holiday Collection then wrapped a double layer of ribbon around the middle and secured them with silver cord. This method is a little tricky to do because you need three hands (lol!), but it works nicely if you have overly bulky ribbon. In this case, the satin ribbon I used was kind of thick so tying it in a knot was almost impossible. Anyway, I stamped the star and greeting with Craft White, embossed both and colored the star in with a white gel pen. I added a clear gem to the center for a little stellar bling. The polar bears are stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black on Neenah Solar White and colored with Copic B00 and B24. Finally, the polar bears and the blue glitter layer are both cut with Spellbinders Labels 2 dies and mounted on dimensionals.

Thanks for visiting!
