Good morning and Happy Friday! Whoohoo the weekend is here!
Josh was supposed to come home this weekend but has now changed his plans so I have another free weekend to stamp, stamp, and stamp. Yay!
Today's card is a one of those 3D ornament cards that have been popping up on SCS lately. The only drawback is when you want to mail it because it has to get flattened a bit to fit in the envelope, but if you're hand delivering there's plenty of WOW-factor to this one!
I started with a half sheet of Ridinghood Red and layered it with a quarter panel minus 1/4 inch of Old Olive. The crimped layer is a piece of Neenah Solar White, and the center of that is layered with a diamond of Ridinghood Red and another of Neenah Solar White. The ornament is stamped 5 times and punched with the ornament punch. Each one is scored down the center and folded. To assemble, I just adhered one half of each ornament to the next leaving the last two halves free to adhere flat to the card. Once you have it stuck down, you just fluff the flaps a bit to get it to stand up. I added the bow to the top to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day!
