Stamp, Eat & Be Merry

Howdy!
Well, our weekend is off to a bit of a chilly start, and I don't think it's supposed to be very warm and wonderful today or tomorrow so it's probably a good thing I have oodles of stamping to do, a kid home from college to spend time with and a dinner with our other son tonight to keep me busy. Whew! If I live through the weekend it should be quite an experience!
Next weekend will be busy too because I have a group of ladies coming over to make Christmas cards. It's going to be a bit of a crowd in my living/dining room, but I know it will be a lot of fun too.

Today's post is the invitation that I sent out for this annual event.  I think this is the 5th or 6th year that I've done this (at least) and every year I try to send out pretty announcements.
This year I went with the tall and skinny variety and a pocket card. The invitation part and the front tag were done on my computer but I added some stamped snowflakes and swirls to winter it up a bit. The designer paper is Wintergreen (discontinued unfortunately but available on the SU! clearance rack as of last week). If you hurry, you might still be able to get some!
The little snowflake charm on the front is actually just one of those silver plastic confetti snowflakes that I picked up somewhere along the way. They came in a bag of "lots" and already have the center hole punched!
Here's the rest of the ingredient list:
S: Priceless, Stampendous Snowflake Swirls  P: Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, Always Artichoke, Neenah Solar White, Wintergreen DSP  I: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze  A: Confetti snowflake, silver brads, artichoke grosgrain ribbon

Thanks for stopping in! Now, I'm off to sneak in a little stamping time before the rest of the house wakes up. Oh, and there's that cup of coffee I've been waiting for...
