Hello!
We woke up this morning to a chilly 36 degrees, gale force winds, rain/sleet and (gasp) snow. Yay. I did have the brains to grab my jacket today however, which I was very glad for. Brrrrrrr.....
The snow, blessedly, did not stick around and I don't know that I'll have to do much raking since most of our leaves have blown away, but I'd still be happy to see a few more days of sunshine and warmer temperatures.
So, anyway given our lovely weather, I thought it was a good day to post another Christmas card. This one is very, very simple so if you're looking for something that's just a little bit whimsical (note the red gem on Dasher's nose) but easy to do, this is a good suggestion.
The stamping, as you can see, is pretty basic. Both the sentiment and Dasher are stamped on Neenah Baronial Ivory in Chocolate Chip ink. Dasher is layered first on Certainly Celery and then on Chocolate Chip while the sentiment is punched and layered just on the Chocolate Chip. The face of the card is layered with Certainly Celery as well and then with a couple of pieces of Dashing designer paper. I added the ribbon to hide where the two meet. A couple of dimensionals to pop the sentiment up and a little bling for his nose, and you're done!
See what I mean? Simple!
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to play along with my "Popularity Contest" while you're here! Just skip back to yesterday's post, or click on the little cupcake icon on the top left side of the page to see how it all works.
