Good morning! Well, it's Thursday already and I admit, I'm kinda wondering where my week has gone. My stamp room is still in chaos, I still need to get groceries and shop for Josh's latest list of "must haves", and the projects that are on my desk seem to have been there since Monday. I'm wondering if I've accomplished anything?! Thank heaven I have a small backlog of finished cards to share or this would be a really sorry blog! So, without further ado...
The card I am sharing is another birthday card. I don't usually do very much with purples but for some reason the colors came together for me on this one. The card base is a half sheet of Lovely Lilac. I adhered some randomly hand-cut pieces of Bazzill Lilac along the bottom to create a bit of a background, then layered together a piece of Bermuda Bay and Elegant Eggplant cardstock. The flowers are stamped on Neenah Solar White as is the sentiment. I stamped and punched out a couple of circle flowers and layered them on a couple of punched daisies. The little brads were some I had in my stash, but aren't they cute? They look like little buttons! Four little scraps of ribbon were adhered to the back of the layered flower piece. Finally, the sentiment is layered on a Bermuda Bay scalloped circle and mounted up on a dimensional.
Have a great day!
