Good morning!
I'm up early today finishing up the last of my cleaning before a full day of stamping. I have 8 ladies coming over today and my stamp room is a bit of a disaster area. If I'm going to find anything, first I need to get some stuff put away! I also need to figure out what I want to work on today since my own Christmas cards are all done. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful that feels! Of course, I'm only done because I'm using the duplicates of all of the cards I did for my mother!
Today's card is another of those.
The ornament stamp is called Glass Sparkles and it's from Stampendous. I bought it a couple of years ago and just never did anything with it. I guess that's one of the bonuses of doing so many different cards - You really find out what you have!
I started with a Real Red card base which I layered on Mellow Moss then took a piece of Dashing DSP and layered that on Mellow Moss too. The striped band in the corner is just a little snippet that I had and the greeting is from Hero Arts (Holiday Messages) stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and layered on Mellow Moss. The ornament is colored with Copics and tied with a little bit of gold cord. I also colored in the dots on the ornament with a Uniball gold gel pen after I had it all colored.
Here's the list of what I used.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
