Hello!
I hope you're having a great day so far! Thanks for stopping by today!
I decided to break up the holiday greetings a bit with a couple of sympathy cards that I did a while back. I so love putting Baja Breeze and Soft Suede together- they never disappoint.
For this pair, I started with a half sheet of Baja Breeze, and a couple of Soft Suede chickadees stamped on Neenah Baronial Ivory and layered on Bayou Blue.
For the card on the left, I stamped the baroque medallion from Friends 24-7 over the face of the card using Bayou Blue. The "So Sorry" sentiment is stamped in Bayou Blue as well. The card on the right got a little embossing action with my Cuttlebug Tapestry Texture embossing folder. I layered the embossed piece on Bayou Blue. Finally, I punched 2 Soft Suede circles and four Baja Breeze circles, added a couple brads in each, and adhered them to the card front. The birds are mounted with dimensionals at the end.
S: Friends 24-7, Hope for Comfort
P: Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Bayou Blue
I: Soft Suede, Baja Breeze/Bayou Blue
A: Tapestry Texture embossing folder, 1-1/2˝ circle punch, 1/2˝ circle punch, brads
note: 1 card does not use Baja Breeze ink
Enjoy your day!
