Hello!
I hope you had a great weekend. I was away for a couple of days visiting family so I was also away from my computer. I'd hoped to get a little stamping done while I was away, but that didn't pan out so I have a bunch more Christmas cards yet to share. Hopefully I can add in a little variety this week though!
This card really came together quickly. I mentioned earlier that I pulled out pretty much every Christmas stamp set that I had doing these cards for my Mom. This set, Happy Winter, has always been a favorite of mine. The little snowman is so darned cute. For this card, I layered together a small rectangle of Bashful Blue and a torn piece of Neenah Solar White and then stamped the snowman in the center. I stamped a second snowman on a scrap of the white and cut him out and then popped him up on a couple of dimensionals.
The background is stamped with the small snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes in Bashful Blue. I layered the card on Bashful Blue and the snowman piece on a little piece of light green cardstock. I also added a little glitter to both the snowman and the torn edge for some snowy sparkle.
S: Happy Winter, Short & Sweet, Serene Snowflakes
P: Bashful Blue, Neenah Solar White, light green cs
I:Bashful Blue, Memento Tuxedo Black
A:ribbon, 2 way glue pen, glitter, Certainly Celery Marker, Red pearl gel pen (Gelly Roll)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
