I have a sympathy card to share with you today. (Thought I'd give you a break from Christmas! lol!)
I realized today that my ready-to-post cards are pretty heavily weighted toward Christmas now with only a few others (mostly sympathy) to break up the monotony. I guess that means I need to get busy making every day cards again! Oh, darn... isn't that a shame...I have to spend more time stamping. What's a girl to do? : )
This card really turned out beautifully considering the rather subdued color scheme. I really like how the Stardreams paper looks when it's embossed.
The card itself is Sahara Sand layered with some light grey blue Bazzill, the embossed Stardreams Opal then a few more layers for the flower. I put one narrow layer of black in just to give the flower a nice crisp frame. The flowers are colored with markers. (This was a pre-Copic card)
Have a great day! See you soon I hope!
