I hope you all had a great weekend! We had a couple of beautiful days here plus I eked out a few more Christmas Cards for my mom. I thought I would share one of them with you today. Yes, I know it's early for Christmas cards, but I have lots of these to share so I thought it might be fun to post them periodically. Besides, believe it or not, we'll be planning for this before we know it!
I think I mentioned a while back that when I first started playing around with Copics I was also re-discovering some of my older stamps. This set was really dusty so pulling it out to play with it again was almost like finding it the first time!
The flower is stamped on Neenah Solar White with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. added a little sparkle to the flower center with a Gelly Roll Clear glitter pen and sponged the paper to soften it a bit. To be honest, I wasn't thinking when grabbed the white so it really looked stark against the somewhat antique background papers. Those papers, by the way, are from The Christmas Stack by DCWV. The card itself is Cherry Cobbler and there's a touch of Wild Wasabi behind the flower.
As always, thanks for stopping in!
