OoohLaLa Purses

Happy Friday!
Yay! The weekend is almost here! I'm ready, I tell you...more than ready.

Today I have these fussy little gift boxes that I did for a friend of mine. Her grandmother was giving them away to her nieces and the plan was to fill them with little 3x3 notes. They did the notes, I just did the purses.
Both versions are done using a 12x12 piece of Doodlebug Designs paper. The white one is glitter paper and the other is pink with pink flocked polkadots. SOOO much cuter in person, but we'll blame that on my photography skills. The pattern for these is one I came up with late last year after purchasing something similar (minus the mirabou feathers) at Target. That one was slightly larger than these so it wouldn't fit on a 12x12 sheet of cardstock. I downsized it accordingly and put my own little spin on it. I'll tell you they are insanely cute done in red flocked paper with white mirabou for that special Mrs. Claus! It's a little hard to tell but the mirabou outlines the front flap of the purse which is held shut with adhesive Velcro®. The ribbon you see is the handle one each purse.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
