Best Friends

Hello!
As promised, here's a little bit of what I've been working on lately. I just purchased three little stamp sets from My Favorite Things - two from the Pure Innocence collection which I absolutely LOVE, and another from the Jolinne collection. This particular card is done with the Pure Innocence Heart Stripes set. Isn't she the sweetest thing? I colored this one with regular markers, but then discovered Copics and, while my VISA card is wimpering, I'm discovering that with the correct tools, even I can color! Expect to see lots of stuff coming up with this little darling not to mention several other sets that call for coloring. My head is spinning a bit at what I can now do with all those high-detail stamps I have!

Anyway, back to this card. The card base is Pirouette Pink layered with a square of Chocolate Chip. Over that I added 4 squares of designer paper from a couple of older Simply Scrappin' kits that I had little bits and pieces left over from other projects. The scallop circles were cut with Quickutz Nesting Flowers dies and the ovals are punched with the medium and scalloped oval punches. I also ran the Pirouette Pink scallop circle through an embossing folder that I've completely forgotten the name of. Sorry! A few dimensionals to pop things up here and there and a bit of ribbon finish it all off.

Thanks for popping in!
