Today I have a card to share that really came together with minimal effort, thanks to that nice big panel of pre-printed fun. It's from a paper stack by DCWV called Songbird. I am such a paper addict!
Anyway, two of the sheets in this particular stack are an assortment of images and text similar to this one and they're perfect for mounting as is, or with a little extra something like I did here. The hardest part was finding buttons in the colors and sizes that I wanted!
I stamped the Baja Breeze card front with Baja Breeze and Basic Black flowers (Shapes & Shadows) and trimmed the edge with a strip of Real Red that I zipped through the Cuttlebug with my Fantasy Floral embossing folder. The panel is layered on Basic Black and tied with the ribbon. The little "friend" tag is stamped with Basic Black on Vanilla, punched with a 5/8˝ circle punch and sponged with So Saffron. A little jump ring provides the means for it to dangle off of the ribbon and the buttons finish it off.
Thanks for dropping by! Friday tomorrow... whoohoo!
