Good morning!
I'm waking up to another rainy day, but other than the somewhat glum look of things outside, I guess I can't really complain. I have a definitive plan to restore order in my stamp room today so a rainy day is just to ticket to get that done.
Yesterday, my friend Twyla came over and we wrapped up the remaining cards I had here for the Stamp A Stack. Now I'm ready for the final round tomorrow when I have a group of 5 ladies coming over to finish theirs. Then... drumroll please...I can finally send the box off to the troops! YAY!!!
Today's card is one of the thinking of your cards that we did last weekend. I have a considerable supply of background papers in my stash and though I like it all, I will probably never live to use it all up! With that in mind, I decided to use up a bunch of it on cards like this. The card itself is a half sheet of white layered on Bashful Blue. I layered a couple pieces of background paper over the face of the card and then layered the card on the Bashful Blue.
Next I stamped a small square of white with three little leaves from In the Spotlight using Wild Wasabi and added the sentiment from Whimsical Words in Pacific Point. The two flowers are stamped with Pacific Point and Yo Yo Yellow then punched out with the 5 petal punch and a small 6 petal daisy punch. The flowers are layered together and a small Wasabi green brad is inserted in the center to hold them together. The white stamped piece is layered on some bright apple green cardstock I found at Archivers and then adhered to the card with the flowers added last with a dimensional.
Thanks for looking!
