Wow, here it is Friday already. Where did the week go?! I think I can finally say I'm all ready for Sunday's Stamp A Stack event. All I have left is to pack everything up and load my car. Whew!
Today's card is the last of the trio of ladies birthday cards for this weekend. You all probably know how much I love this bird so it should come as no surprise that one of the cards uses the set. And, of course, that Medallion is beautiful.
The card itself is vanilla and is layered on a nice dark eggplant cs that I found at Anchor paper a while back. It's just a tiny bit darker than Elegant Eggplant but the ink still matches beautifully.
I stamped the Medallion in Elegant Eggplant and made sure I stamped it off the bottom left corner so you'd see most of it once I covered it up with the other layers. The bird is also stamped with Elegant Eggplant and layered on the eggplant cs. The sentiment is stamped with Always Artichoke. I used Always Artichoke for the Friendly Words wheel and layered it on Always Artichoke. Those pieces are mounted flat to the card but the bird is popped up on dimensionals. All in all, a very simple card, but classy too right?
