Hello!
Today has been an exceptionally long day, but we're now home from our Student/Parent orientation at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Josh is now officially considered a student and we're a little lighter in the wallet. Whew!
Anyway, I meant to post yesterday but things got away from me. It's been crazy busy around here lately.
This is the last of the three thank yous we did last Sunday at the Stamp a Stack. It's really very quick and easy to assemble but thanks to a very pretty Sizzix folder (Flowers) the card front really pops. No pun intended.
The card is Mellow Moss that, as I said, is embossed with the Sizzix Flowers folder. Over that I layered a piece of Really Rust followed by a strip of Chocolate Chip. The flower spray and the thank you sentiment are both stamped with Basic Brown ink on vanilla and colored with Really Rust, More Mustard and Mellow Moss markers. Both pieces are layered on Really Rust.
see what I mean? simple!
I hope you're headed into a wonderful weekend. I have a friend coming over tomorrow to stamp and I am hoping to wrap up another pile of leftover SAS cards before I have another group over on Monday night to do the same. I can't wait to count them all up and see how many we have! Stay tuned!
