Hello!
Wow, this week is zipping right by. Must have something to do with all of the projects I have going at the moment-at work and at home. I'm thrilled to report that as of last Sunday, I have 12 people signed up to do the Stamp A Stack for the Troops (and You!) event! That amounts to 180 cards for the troops! If you can help, and want to join in on the fun, registration is still open and there's plenty of room. I'd love to see yout there!
Today I have a cute little 3x3 note card set to share with you. These notes are so quick and easy to make and are a great way to use of scraps of cardstock. What I used here was actually some pieces I had left over from scrapbook pages with the exception of the full sheet of 8.5x11 that I used for the box and lid. The stamp set is Very Versatile, and I borrowed it from a friend. Now, of course, I am asking myself why I didn't buy it when it was available. Such a pretty set and that little wispy flower is great for most anything. Hmmmm, maybe that's why it's called Very Versatile??? Gee, quick aren't I??? Well, you can stop snickering. I haven't had my quota of coffee yet. *smiles*
So anyway, the cards are all 3x3 and other than some swapping around of the colored bands the stamped panels are all the same. The box is made to just fit the 4 cards and envelopes though I admit I goofed a bit on the box portion so the lid is a tight fit, but since I whipped it up spur of the moment without a pattern I thought I did okay. Here's the box with the lid on it.
Thanks for stopping in!
