Hi! Well, March is officially here, so Winter is over and all the snow is going to go away right? Well, a girl can dream...
Today's card is my attempt at something a little fresh and Spring-y with lots of bling of course!
I borrowed a friend's Always set a few weeks ago for this one and veered away from the obvious bird card- though I admit I do love that bird! Anyway, the little sprig of berries doesn't seem like it gets used much in the cards I've seen, so here we are!
The card base is a 5 x 10 piece of Bashful Blue folded and stamped randomly with the open flower from Always with Bashful Blue ink and then layered on a 5-1/4 square of Basic Black. The sprigs are stamped with Basic Black on three narrow pieces of Whisper White, layered on slightly larger pieces of Basic Black and then trimmed out with gemstones. the ribbons are wrapped around back to front with the ends tucked and hidden under the center panel and the Happy Birthday piece is stamped, layered and then popped up on dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!
