Hello!
Today I have a thank you card to share. I'm not sure where I was going with this card exactly, but it actually took me a couple of days to get it to come together. The designer paper is from a Christmas paper pack so originally I think it was going to be another Christmas card but somewhere along the way I ran out of steam and set it aside. Sometimes it pays to let things simmer a bit!
The card is a 5 x 10 piece of Pomegranate from The Paper Company layered on a 5-1/4 square of Chocolate Truffle (also from The Paper Company) I layered a 4-3/4 square of Gold Metallic Stardreams on the card front then a couple of pieces of designer paper from a DCWV Holiday paper pack. The lacy strip is punched with a new Martha Stewart Doily Lace trim punch and then embellished with a few pearls. The ribbon is from Archivers from their Your's Truly collection. I just love that ribbon. It's just as rich and soft as it looks and I'm never disappointed in how my bows or knots turn out. The thank you is stamped twice on a piece of the designer paper. Once with Chocolate Chip and once with Baroque Burgandy. The corners are punched with a Deco Corner punch that I've had forever. I layered it on another piece of designer paper and a piece of the Chocolate Truffle and gave the corners the same treatment. I popped it up on a couple of dimensionals because of where I placed it over the ribbon.
As always, thanks for popping in! Have a great day!
