Hello!
Well, it's a bright and sunny day here in MN, but we seem to have lost a few degrees somewhere - the temp outside reads below zero. I guess winter really is here, but I'm fighting back with a spring-y card that is sure to cheer you wherever you are! Take that Father Winter!
The card itself is a 4-3/4 x 9-1/2 inch piece of pastel pink cs from American Crafts. Over that I layered a couple of pieces of designer paper from a Bo Bunny assortment I picked up for FREE at Archivers a while back plus a strip of pastel green cs that I ran through my Dotted Swiss Cuttlebug embossing folder and a strip of white textured cs that I edge-punched with my Fiskars Threading Water punch. Next I cut a 5-1/8 inch square of Whisper White and punched all four sides with the same edge punch. The card is layered on that and then on a 5-1/4 square of the pastel green. The sentiment and flowers are stamped on Whisper White using Basic Gray, Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze and Pretty in Pink. I stamped the flower pot twice and cut the second one out to mount up on dimensionals. The little black dots in the centers of all the flowers are made with a Jelly Roll black glaze pen. Next I tied a piece of Celery twill ribbon around the face of the card and then mounted the flower pot piece on a slightly larger piece of pink designer paper from the Bo Bunny assortment. The sentiment is layered on the same designer paper plus a scalloped oval of White textured cardstock.
