Hi there! I haven't done many men's cards lately so I thought I should fix that oversight. A while back I was whipping up a few to add to my box at work- one of the guys asked me if I had any thank you cards and all I had was flowery stuff. Very disappointing for both of us! Anyway, it had been a while since I used this Schooner set too so it was time for that to come out of hiding as well! As you can see the color scheme is really very monochromatic. I'm always surprised at how nice a monochromatic scheme works out- when you expect it to be boring it isn't!
Anyway, the card is an 8 x 5-1/4 piece of Bordering Blue layered on Not Quite Navy. The wheels are stamped with Not Quite Navy randomly over the face of the card plus one more time on a piece of Very Vanilla. The latter is hand trimmed and mounted with a dimensional at the end. The ship and thank you are also stamped with Not Quite Navy on Very Vanilla and layered on Not Quite Navy. I punched the thank you with the word window punch and then layered it on a punched medium oval. The teeny-tiny little brads in the center of the wheel and on either end of the thank you piece are from Recollections.
Thanks for looking!
