Santa's Treat Bucket

Hi there!
Are you looking for a quick idea for a secret Santa or you're kid's teacher? Here's something you might like to try. A friend of mine (who shall remain nameless since this was for her Secret Santa recipient and we don't want to spill the beans) did this after a quick trip to Archivers where we were searching for ideas and ways to spend money. Not necessarily in that order. LOL! Anyway, we put it together and I snapped a couple of photos before she gave it away. The little bucket is from Archivers and is only about 3 inches tall. Cute huh?

Here's the view from the top:
Because the bucket is clear we didn't want to completely take away from the see-through factor so we limited the decoration of that to a band of Dashing DSP. The lid, on the other hand, is where the action is!
Using the Marvy circle cutter (took a little practice using it because it's been ages) we finally found the right circle size and covered the lid with a piece Real Red. The "S" and the "Just for you from Santa" circle are the same stamp (My Sentiments Exactly - Noel). We stamped it twice; once in Real Red and again in Old Olive. The first is punched out with a 1 inch circle punch and the second with a 1-1/2 inch circle punch. The "S" is mounted up on a dimensional over the sentiment and then adhered to a Certainly Celery scallop circle which is also mounted on a dimensional. A piece of Bazzil ribbon finishes it off.
