Lemon Blooms

Good morning!
I'm going to post really quickly here and then I need to get down to my stamp room and do a little clean up before my friend Twyla gets here. She's just returned from France/Italy and I'm dying to hear about her trip. Hopefully she can blab about that while we are putting our card swap cards together.

I'm pulling from a little stash of cards I have on my computer just for days like today. After Twyla leaves, I'll be neck deep in ripping apart our bathroom so I know I won't have time to stamp later at all unless I collapse in my stamping chair and find some untapped energy! ha!

Anyway, this card is one I did a while ago right after I got my Echoes of Kindness stamp set. It's such a pretty set and it's perfect for sympathy and wedding cards. This one is a sympathy card. The card base is Certainly Celery- just a standard half sheet folded. On the front, I layered a piece of yellow plaid designer paper from ProvoCraft. Next came a layer of Daisy D's daisy paper and a bit of yellow ribbon (Dots N Checks from Michael's) The floral spray is stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White and colored using the Gamsol technique. I glittered up the flowers with some yellow glitter and then layered the piece on Certainly Celery.

Thanks for stopping by! If I can, I'll post again tonight, but if not, make sure you stop in tomorrow for our new Sunday Stash Challenge #15!
